My Formalist Film

The formalist film i watched was Scarface, how Scarface is a formalist film is how it shows a columbian immigrant end up turning into a major drug lord.

Brian De Palma the director done very good camera shots including 

worms eye view to make the characters have a higher status they would have.

wide shot to include the location of where they were shooting the scene.

Sounds in the film are real, because its all the general sounds of a movie ( Guns, Cars, Swimming in a pool, People in convertables listening to Miami style music)

Class Formalist Film

Ms Flavell set the whole class a task of working together to create a formalist film. 

We got put into 5 groups including camera work, lighting, sound, editing and Mis En Scene.

 I got put into the camera group and had some ideas about what camera shots we could have used.

Point of View 

When it came to shooting the film there was only one person needed so i then joined the sound team, (sort of) and helped out.
